About

I’ve had an online presence since the late 90s and jameskeirstead.ca has been my home since 2004. The site’s been used for various things over the years but now I try to keep it simple: occasional writing about energy, typography and anything else that catch my attention; and an archive of my research work and other projects. I tend not to post naked links – i.e. links to other content without any original commentary – but rules are made to be broken and they still sneak in from time to time. This is the closest I come to a blog manifesto. In my day job, I am a Research Fellow at Imperial College London.

I’m originally from Truro, Nova Scotia.
